Requirements
Here at Petite Paws Playcare, we are committed to providing a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for your loved one. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests.
REQUIREMENTS:
All dogs applying to our daycare must be spayed or neutered.
Puppies must be a minimum of 7 months old and have had their 3rd round of core vaccines before they are safe and permitted to attend our daycare.
Daycare can be a very stimulating environment, as such applications for dogs 8 years or above may be subject to further discussion as it can often be to overwhelming to start daycare at a more advanced age and may not be the right fit.
Weight maximum is 30 pounds/ 13.61 kgs and height maximum is 22 inches/ 56cm.
VACCINATIONS:
All vaccinations & boosters must be up to date.
Distemper Combination (DHPP), Rabies & Bordetella vaccines are required.
Titre tests are accepted if the results confirm that the level is sufficient to be considered effective.
Proof of vaccinations that clearly indicate when the next shots are due are required to be summited before booking assessments. Pet passports are not valid forms of documentation.
ASSESSMENTS:
Bringing in a new dog who has not had the proper introduction to daycare is an un-needed stress for both the new dog and the daycare dogs.
All new dogs must book in for a 2 hour evaluation before being accepted into doggy playcare. This will allow us to get to know your pooch and a chance for them to become familiar and comfortable with our facility and staff.
Once the New Client application has been fully filled out, we will reach out to you via phone for a pre-screening call. Assessment dates will be booked during the pre-screening call. We will not schedule assessments without all proper forms of documentation submitted or through email.
Following the 2 hour assessment, there is a minimum of
2 half days before proceeding to a full day
4 visits within the first month
New dogs will be required to be reassessed if there are no bookings within 1 month of the first assessment.
Assessment drop off booking times are only available from 7am to 8:30am.
Assessment fee is $26.
NO SHOW FEE:
Scheduled assessments will be considered a no-show after 30 min of the scheduled time. Please treat your assessment as an appointment and show up on time.
24 hour cancellation policy for scheduled assessments.
Maximum 2 reschedules with notice.
No show assessment fees are $15 if applicant chooses to reschedule missed assessment.
APPLICATION:
All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file prior to attending daycare.

Waiver Form: Available as a PDF or at the daycare. As this form requires a signature and initials, please bring in the hard copy on your first visit.
RESERVATIONS:
Advanced bookings are required. Assessments will be booked during a scheduled pre-screening call following submission of all proper forms of documentation.
If your dog is not feeling well, vomiting or diarrhea, please do not bring him/her to daycare. Please be advised that if we believe that your dog requires immediate attention by a veterinarian, we will notify you, transport your dog and obtain veterinary services and charge your account for the full amount incurred for the treatment of your dog. These charges must be paid in full at the time that you pick up your dog.
We reserve the right to end attendance at daycare due to aggression, excessive mounting, excessive barking or if the dog is not a good fit.
